JJ Design is an Importer, Wholesaler and Distributor based in Christchurch New Zealand and servicing the whole country through a network of 7 reps located strategically throughout the North and South Islands.

Over the past 20 years the company has built a reputation in the industry that is second to none for Value, Quality and Service and many customers regard the company as their most efficient and reliable supplier.

We have over 800 active accounts in various types of stores including, Department Stores, Gift Shops, Chemists, Fashion stores, Homeware stores, Hardware Stores, Bookshops, Florists, Supermarkets and other specialty stores.

The current ranges include Gift Stationery, Giftwares, Soft Toys, Children’s Gifts, Housewares, Jewellery and Souvenirs. We also distribute the Saress range of beach wear. The Company was purchased in May 2008 by David & Desma Preston. David has had over 30 years experience in the retail industry and for the last 23 years owned and operated a chain of very successful book and stationery stores in the South Island. Desma has come from a hospitality management background and they are now working together to build the company further.

The Christchurch staff consists of the two directors, plus a sales manager with 34 years experience in the industry, two experienced office staff and 2 permanent warehouse staff. Extra warehouse staff are employed to cover busy periods.
